Sick of winter

I'm sure Heather is feeling the cold right now along with me. I think it reached 12 degrees last night. We broke a record or something. How... cool. (No pun intended) We were told to let our faucets drip so the pipes don't freeze? This whole cold weather thing is really new for me. Last year, I think we had flurries only. Anyway, my point is, cold weather just sucks a big fat jammy toe. I do love wearing my scarf though.

I want winter to end. I need a tan and I need exercise, two things that don't happen when it's below freeeezing.

I'm copying your horizontal lines. I think it's pretty nifty.

Subject change: School is kicking my ass too. Although it is nothing compared to yours (Heather), my dilemma is that for the first time since I got married, I have a friend close by. I can't tell her no when I should. I already know I need to set up some kind of rules for studying. I just really ... don' t want to. She's so much fun! I don't want to do the school thing anymore but I can't quit cause (1) I can't afford the fees for financial aide and (2) I think Zeke will kill me.

Okay going now. Enough meaningless chatter for today!

LMAO, well at least there's this big space where the rest of us can see where you meant to put it. I'm not sure if that's much of a consolation, though.

Hey - don't quit school, you will regret it. I will help you study. If you don't learn to say no now, it will keep happening over and over. She will understand I am sure.

:)

Haha Shannon. I feel much better thanx.

Heather, I think I get satisfaction out of threatening to quit. Like "mess with me again and I'll leave" kind of thing. But yeah I won't leave. You and a few of my friends are going to school too so that gives me motivation to keep going. My school friends are my heroes! *hug, cheese and corniness*

Sorry about the cold and the joke at your expense. Okinawa is comparatively nice (with a low of 60!), although I've seen weather when it was 15 below within 2 months of being in 130 degree temperature. I think I enjoy the cold weather more, even if it means slipping on ice multiple times before I get to my car. Good memories.

it's nice and sunny in AK... a little more than monty foggy - but over all beautiful ;-)

I heard from a little birdie on the east coast that they stop living and hibernate when there is the possibility of snow or below freezing. is this true? all I have to say is... the more ice on the road - the more fun it is to drive. j/k.

and i don't know if i know you, but hi! and heather's right. establishing boundaries in any relationship is necessary - and the longer you put it off, the harder it becomes. A friend and I recently realized this was the problem, we're working on it, but it's hard to reestablish things - once the habits become second nature.

nice to meet everyone!
